See ya Later Spiderman. . . . and $2.25. . . WHAT?

So Caleb was really excited when his Grandma Ison gave him a Spiderman lunch box for school. We used it for two days when his teacher lost it BEFORE lunch.

How does a teacher lose a lunchbox?

Who knows.

So Caleb gets in the car and tells me that he bought lunch at school, because his lunchbox has gone missing.

(Would have been nice of the teacher send a note home). What can you do?

Anyways, I called the school to found out how school lunches work, how to add money to there account, etc. To find out. . . . . Oh yes,

"Your son has a -$2.25 balance".

Thanks, Now I am out a ten dollar lunchbox, and $2.25.

It's Official . . . .

KINDERGARTEN

Caleb's first day of school pictures, he wanted his shovel to be in it, what can I say he's a cowboy!

I love this picture, it just goes to show you how excited he is to be going to school.

Caleb, and all his classmates waving goodbye to mom's and dad's, as they finally walk into there class.

The first paper that came home in the back pack, which comes a long with a cute story. As most parents do, they ask there children, or child, what they did, what they learned, and did you make any friends. Well before we even got into the car after school, Caleb says "I got a girlfriend". I of course asked him "Whats her name?" Caleb: "I don't know." "Well I wrote it on my paper."

So as you look closely at the top of the paper right under his name, you see letters, in what I guessed to be SANDRA.

Well day three came, and I was informed that they broke up :(

Caleb: "Don't worry mom, I already have a new girlfriend!"

Mom: " Oh, whats her name?"

Caleb: "I don't know."

Anyways, Caleb has been having a really good time in school, and is learning a lot. Everyday this month is a different color, so the teacher asked that they wear that color on those days, so that has been fun for Caleb to do. He can now spell the word RED, YELLOW, BLUE, and GREEN. (When he wants to) It has been fun to have only two kids at home during the day, but I still really miss Caleb, I look forward to when he gets home.

~:~ Cheyenne can SWIM ~:~

Cheyenne took swim lessons back in June, and did very well. Even though the other kids cried Cheyenne kept her cool, and swam like a pro. She took from the same person that Caleb did, Geri Broadbent. They did things such as "Do as I am doing" to help them with their arms. "Little ducky duttle" for the kicks, and "Humpty Dumpty" for turning around and grabbing onto the wall. She had treasure hunts underwater, and can dive for rings, as well as diving off the rock.

And by the end of it all she can Swim. Not just short distances, but long distances too. She is my brave little swimmer. She loves to swim, so much that she doesn't allow herself much time to rest in between breathes.

Back in May we had the opportunity to go stay at my Parents new cabin in show low, where we went fishing for two days. We went to woodland lake the first day, and Fools Hollow the second, and neither day did we catch anything, but we still had fun:) Bryan my brother, and his wife and kids joined us in our fishing fun! Kingston was interested in fishing, can't you tell?

We caught a lot of sticks and moss, so I'm almost positive this is Caleb wanting help with getting rid of one of the two.

This is Brent's first time ever fishing, and with his great luck the pole snapped in two as he casted his line, but. . . . . . . .

Thanks to Jessica my niece she retrieved it for Brent. Well lets face it, I think she enjoyed swimming more then fishing.

GO . . . Blue Eagles!!!

Caleb Played on his first soccer team, in which he and one other were the only two that hadn't ever played before. Caleb learned really fast how to play the game, and was exceptionally good at being goalie. Our first practice we didn't realize we needed our own soccer ball, so that and shoes were are first investments into such a fun and exciting sport. Caleb has asked us to play soccer just about everyday since, even thought it is 115 degrees out. It was so fun to watch Caleb progress the way that he did. We started out with our first game going the wrong way, buy quickly learned the right way. We also went from asking the coach to take us out of the game to go play on the play ground, to almost playing the whole game. As I have learned Caleb is an Ellsworth, and as his father and uncle say . . . . . .

"Ellsworth's play soccer, and we're good at it, we DON"T take ourselves out of the game"!

He's grandpa even told him, to play hard and never give up, and he didn't. At one of the games only five player showed up. Well the way the unified five games are played is with a goalie, and three players on the field, so needless to say, the team was pretty tired after playing an hour game, but they won and we were all really proud of our boys. Caleb made his first goal and had many that came so close. We had a great season, and we can't wait to play again!!!

And for documenting purposes, Caleb had another coach. . . Coach E, with two other kids that aren't pictured. . . . Josh, and Bradly.

Things to remember. . . . . Riley has a Mohawk, which all the kids dug, and so one game, all the kids came with spiked hair. (So not planned)

Caleb's first game he accidentally knocked a girl over, and he felt bad. (He learned it only OK during sports)

This is after the last game of the season, and he received his pictures and medal. I love how Caleb looks so excited about his medal, he was proud of himself for such a good season, and we as parents couldn't be prouder of a Little soccer play.

Good Job Caleb!!!

Do NOT try this at HOME!!!

I don't know how Caleb learned this trick, but it sure is cool, and he is proud of himself for being able to do it. I'm just glad I was able to catch it all on tape:)

Easter 2010!!!

The Easter bunny found our house, and the kids loved it. These last couple of holidays have been so much fun, because Caleb and Cheyenne are starting to get excited that Santa is coming, or the Easter Bunny, or in Caleb's case the Tooth Fairy.


We of course still have to wake them up for such occasions, but they are still very excited.

You know what the best part is?

They are at the age where they love everything they get, and have so much gratitude for whatever it is they get.

We are in the middle of renovations at our house, which will be another post all in itself, but with limited living space, the Easter bunny displayed the baskets on the wood planks.


This is Caleb and Cheyenne's Easter baskets up close, poor Kingston didn't get anything exciting just baby food, and teething toys.



Cheyenne cracks me up, although she doesn't have a ton of hair every mourning her hair is one giant rats nest. See her hair all wild, I love it!!!
