6 Years of Bliss!!!

Brent and I celebrated our 6th Anniversary, on April 8th!!! Above is a picture is our engagement picture. Sometimes when I look at these pictures I can't believe that he agreed to marring me. I was the wild child, out to have a good time, my hair if you can't tell I was growing out, and the whole underneath was black. This was just one of the many hair colors I had.

This was our wedding day, 6 years ago and is one of the best days of my life. Look how handsome Brent is!!!

These six years have been wonderful. Like most marriages you have your ups and downs, but I have to say we have had more ups then downs. In six years we have had three amazing children, Caleb, Cheyenne, and Kingston. We have graduated with a BSBA from ASU, although we continue to further our education, we are doing it together, We have become aunts and uncles to 37 nieces and nephews with one on the way, as well as become great aunts and uncles to one niece, and one nephew on the way. We have a wonderful family. Six years with Brent can't even be described, I couldn't imagine being with anyone else other than him, he is an amazing husband , and amazing father. Who could ask for more? I love you Brent, thanks to 6 years of bliss, I look forward to an eternity of more!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Cheyenne!!!

Cheyenne turned 3 years old back on February 18th, and had such a wonderful birthday. Cheyenne is such a sweet girl, she always has a smile on her face, and can can always bring a smile to yours. Cheyenne has been working on growing her hair out now for three years, and although it is still thin and short it is growing, and she loves to tell me that her hair is getting long. I am sorry Cheyenne that your hair is the way that it is considering that I looked the same way when I was a little girls. Maybe this means that you will have a thick head of hair when it all comes in. One could only hope. Cheyenne loves to color me pictures, for the most part she can draw people even if the arms and legs both come out of the side of the body!! She is learning to count, which she has made it to eleven. She loves to sing, mostly when she is swinging in the great outdoors. She has always been a little mommy, since she was one she has taken great care of of her baby dolls, and in return she love her little brother Kingston and takes great care of him. She is and has been such a blessing in our loves and we are so great to have had her for three years and can't wait for many many more. So the day of her birthday was celebrated with family, with a mini party at grandma and grandpa Ellsworth's house, with cake and presents.

Caleb is always willing to help everyone open their presents, and thankfully Cheyenne is so sweet that she didn't even mind the help!!!

Brent and I had felt that Cheyenne had gotten gypped on her last two birthdays that we for sure needed to make number three a blast. so for two weeks we planned on having her party outdoors for her and all her wonderful friends. However the weather never permitted that, so by the third week chuck e cheese is what she got. We invited family and friends, and all had a fun time.Princess Cake!!!

7 Times in 71/2 Months:(

That's right Cheyenne is Sick again. Dear sickness please leave Cheyenne alone, we don't wish you'd stay. In fact please don't come back again. Cheyenne has been getting sick just about every month for seven in a half months, and I don't know how much more her and i can handle this. It all started out with golf ball size lymph nodes. Every month we have been tested for strep, not just the one in the office, but cultures have been sent back, in which all have come back Negative. So besides the Swollen lymph nodes, we have high fevers which is usually anywhere from 102.6 to 104.2, as well as leg cramps. We have been to the ENT, were we have talked about taking her tonsils and adenoids out. Apparently they don't like to do that when they are so little, so we have been referred to and immune Specialist, were Cheyenne has been tested for all types of things, one being leukemia, which I am happy to say came back neg. I love Cheyenne so much it pains me to see her like this. For those of you that know Cheyenne she always has a smile on her face, and always happy! With this sickness, it takes the pep out of her step and the smile off her face. I wish we could find out the reason for all this sickness, but for now I will love her and kiss her, and pray for this to once again leave. I love you Cheyenne!!! GET WELL SOON!!!

The Kingston Bounce!!!

Kingston is getting so big, and so fun we all love the stage he's at in life right now. Don't get me wrong I Love the sweet baby stage, but when they can start to entertain themselves a little better, it sure does make life a little easier. Kingston has learned to bounce, and a good little bounce he is. I sure do love him!!!

The LOST Tooth!!!

Caleb lost his first tooth in the month of February. We had noticed that his tooth had already broken through behind his baby tooth, so baby had to be pulled. We worked on it for a couple of weeks, and Caleb just wanted it out. Caleb said "Dad, just get it out already!" So Brent twisted, and pulled and it came out. Caleb didn't even flinch, he was so excited to have his tooth out and even more excited the tooth fairy was bringing him money.

Cheyenne though it was neat that Caleb lost a tooth and has been wanting hers to come out too!!!

The Tooth fairy did visit Caleb, and he received a two dollar bill in exchange for his cute little baby tooth.

Beach Fun!!!

Oh to the beautiful beach. Nothing compared to Hawaii I am sure, but for now this will have to do. This is our families first visit to the beach, and we soaked up the sun, played in the waves, and tried to find sea shells. (That weren't broken, we got three). As Brent and I have been going to school Caleb asks us why we have to go, and we tell him so we can get smart, more money, and go to the beach. Well school is an ongoing battle, and the poor kid might be waiting forever, so the beach he got.

The water was freezing, but the kids still enjoyed running away from the waves. However, Cheyenne can't run very fast, and the waves were really big that day, and we all got soaked. The above picture is Cheyenne testing out the water, making sure she really wants to go for it.

Caleb and Cheyenne were both upset when it was time to go, we didn't spend nearly enough time at the beach, so next time we go will know to spend the whole day at the beach.

A well NEEDED and DESERVED Vacation!!!

Let me just tell you, Brent and I aren't very good about taking vacation, not that we don't want to but something always gets in the way of allowing us to take the plunge and do it. However, last month, Valentines weekend, I managed to talk Brent into a spontaneous vacation to Sea World. We decides to wake up sat. morning, pack the kids up, and go. Caleb had told us he wanted to go to the Phoenix Zoo that night before, so when we woke up we told him that is where we are going. With the kids in there jammies, we drove, and drove, and drove. I thought that Caleb was going to ask what was taking soooo long, but he only asked two or three times.

When we arrived at Sea world, Caleb was really surprised, and at first he was a little disappointed we weren't at the phoenix zoo, but after we explained and got inside he thought he was in heaven. We spent three days at sea world, and did almost everything there was to do.

We waited for the Shamu show to start, and that was a fun show!

We rode the Star fish spinney thingy!!! Caleb got us spinning really fast, in fact I thought we were going to lose Cheyenne, she couldn't sit up straight. I though Cheyenne wasn't going to like it but she did!And of course my least favorite thing, the jungle gym. This contraption is meant for kids and adults to climb, but let me tell you what..... It was hard, and I couldn't wait to get the heck out of that thing. After the first time I was like noway am I doing that again. Tons of kids, and Adults trying to climb this giant mesh maze, next time I think all pass;) The things you do, just to allow your kids to have a fun time.

We waited in line to feed the dolphins, pet first feed second. Cheyenne was scared to death as soon as those dolphins came our way, but Caleb couldn't get enough. I can see why it would be scary, those dolphins were aggressive, and looking into a mouth full of teeth is something to be scared of.Brent and Kingston petting the sting ray (Bat ray)! Again Cheyenne didn't want anything to do with them.Caleb at first was a little scared, after all they are called STING ray. After a little while of talking to him I convinced him to feed them. It was amazing, as I too had never feed them before. You place the fish between your pointer and middle finger, place your arm underwater as far as you can, and the sting rays swim over the top, and suck it right out of your hand like a vacuum. A couple of times I though Caleb was going to lose his hand because he kept it down there so long, but as you can see he still has them both.

This is one of the rides Caleb went on several time. It is part roller coaster, and part log ride. He loved every minute, and not at any minute did it ever scare him. The other ride that he went of was a raft ride, that got both him and Brent soaked, but again he loved it. Cheyenne however was very disappointed she couldn't ride so she got spoiled because mommy bought her a bracelet with her name on it, and daddy bought her a doll. I guess you get whatever you want as long as you stop crying. Well it worked!!!

The sky ride was fun, of course it would have been better had we all been able to go at the same time. Apparently Kingston, although riding on our lap is one to many riders for one cart. Now we know.Kingston sporting his new Sea World hat!!!Cheyenne and daddy!!!

And you can't forget to get the Shamu Ice cream. Cheyenne took one bite, and half of it fell on the ground. She wasn't very happy!!!What a cute group!!!Through all the fun, we had we diffidently got tuckered out, can't you tell;)Someday I will get one of these beautiful trees at my home!!!This is the hotel we stayed at. I booked a hotel on hotels.com, and thought to myself this looks like a good place. I showed pictures to Brent (Look at the rooms, look at the pool etc.) You know how that goes. All looked great, but when we got there, nothing looked like the picture at all, it was in a shady neighbor hood, and the parking was horrible. However the rooms weren't that bad once you got to them.Look at these cute kids all ready for bed!!!

We had a wonderful time as a family, and enjoyed every minute we got to spend with each other. When we got home, Brent was already planning our next vacation, so I hope this is a start to much more vacations, and creating lasting memories for our kids, and with our kids.
